Educational Opportunities

Students interested in intern or externships should contact their discipline of study. The following is a short list of disciplines that accept students. Additional positions may be available within the hospital.

• Clinical Rotations in Nursing - contact Raquel Arcega or Patty Williams at (562) 401-7817 or by e-mail at NursingEd@rancho.org. The Nursing Education Division at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center can only process pre-approved clinical rotations for schools that have an established contract with the County of Los Angeles. We are not accepting any new affiliating school contracts at this time.

• Physical Therapy - offering graduate level clinical affiliations with accredited Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant programs. These experiences are arranged through the schools’ Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education with Rancho’s Center Coordinator of Clinical Education (CCCE).
