Surgery
The Department of Surgery at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center serves inpatients and
outpatients, with a focus on providing specialized services for persons with disabilities. Specialties
include diabetes and amputee; pressure ulcer management and plastic surgery for wound repair and burn;
childrens orthopedic; orthopedic surgery for spinal injury, stroke and adult brain injury; gynecology;
urology, ophthalmology and neuro optometry; otolaryngology; post-polio and pathokinesiology;
spine surgery and neurosurgery; surgical arthritis; and general surgery.
